Aircab,

If the PIC is typed and a MEI, you can log the flight time as dual received. Is it “good time”? That’s a judgement call. When I fly with a low time pilot that is appropriately rated in a PC12, Cheyenne, or a twin Cessna, I let them fly and give them dual instruction. I hope they are learning something when they are manipulating the flight controls. I certainly don’t think it’s useless time and it is all perfectly loggable flight time. YMMV... cd9
