At one point I was told that my airspeed and rpm indications were inaccurate and the whole event was basically in my imagination. Also, don't miss out on the reason I left (point #2 of the original post), this is just another observation that I wasn't particularly impressed with.
John, perhaps "partial engine failure" is a bit over dramatic. If it seems that way, that's not how it was intended--the engine is supposed to produce so much horsepower and it didn't, sounds like a failure to me. Would you complain if I call it "partial power loss"?
You already dug the hole. Why do you insist on going deeper?

I've been told if I keep digging, I'll pop out in China.

Seriously, this is asinine, I'm just responding to your questions and patently false assumptions--i don't exactly appreciate that. But what the heck are you doing? You come in here and just assume I'm a moron-of-a-pilot and entitled employee. Get a life.

No assumptions are made. You've painted your own picture.

You as well. I'll let the internet be the judge, which is exactly what I had in mind to begin with. Thank you for your help.

The internet won't be the judge; those reading can only go off your story and the picture you've painted.

Your next prospective employer will certainly be the judge, though. Be sure to tell him or her everything you've said here.

I tell you what, John. I'll send you a PM when I get hired by regional airlines. Heck, I'll even post right here what my next employer has to say of this.
