I applied while enroute to my commercial multi-add-on; got a call within a week for a conference call interview. After that it was an in person meeting with the hub manager followed by a check-out flight with their chief pilot.
They definitely want to hire the right person for the job, rather than just another person to fill a PIC slot.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to reach out. Shout out to Maxwel!
I applied right on their website just like this link here. Other people had the same experiences as me. Here's the thread on jetcareers https://forums.jetcareers.com/thread...3#post-2715005

They were using a company called hirevue where they asked you fiveish questions and you responded in a YouTube like video feed back. No back and forth conversation with a person so you can gauge what they are saying and ask follow-up questions about the job. Nope you just stared into your computers webcam and answered their questions.

I didn't play there game, just let the video run with the wall as the background and told them I thought there hiring process was impersonal. In reality I should have just played there hiring games I'd have the times to apply for a regional now. Had 135 vfr mins and around 80 multi with my comm single/multi when I applied.
'their' not 'there' will improve your chances of getting hired anywhere

I just had an interview awaiting a CJO. Anyone successfully get hired? Looking for what life is like for you guys on the road as far as any cool trips and what the days are like. Also, if you guys are getting per diem and how accommodations have been for you on overnights.

I worked from the hub at CRG in Jacksonville Fl. We did RF Collection and Photo work. The RF collection job was weeks out on the road but I got to travel coast to coast building A LOT of cross country and night time. All solo, as well. I did that from January until September of this year and gave it up for a job flying Lear 35's out of St Pete Fl. Much closer to home. Overall, the job is fun and you get free reign to really go where its convenient for you and has the cheapest fuel. If you have aircraft issues, you can resolve them over the road at maintenance facilities of your choice. As long as you're getting the work done, you will really be your own boss. The pay is a little weak at $36k annually but you do get overtime if its required for the job. Overall, enjoyable. Downsides are being away from home for 3+ weeks. The aircraft maintenance out of CRG was a little lax but was improving. Your choices for being able to pay for hotels and food were to take an advance (takes about a week to get it) of up to $3000. That lasts about 3 weeks on average. Or you can choose to pay for it out of pocket and be reimbursed. You are given a fuel card for use at FBO's for fuel and other fees incurred at the airport. You get a fuel bonus at the end of your trip if you keep your fuel cost average below the national average. This was from the Jacksonville CRG hub so I'm not sure all of this applies elsewhere.

Thanks for the info! Seems as if a lot of these hubs operate very differently. You said you flew solo. Does that mean the camera/equipment is self/ remotely operated?

I got the job with Geomni. Seems as if every hub may have a different process as far as hiring however. My process was very painless and I start on Monday. Im excited to get started with this company.

We would love to hear how things go for you over there. Keep us posted on your life with Geomni. What were your times when you interviewed?

Definitely will keep you guys updated. I interviewed with 345 hrs TT. Also, I did have someone walk in my resume for me as well. That helped tremendously.
