How many hours can you expect to get on average in a year?

I am at 485 hours TT with AMEL/ASEL and Instrument. I've applied twice as well and haven't heard anything back.

Currently trying to contact the manager at the Norcal office.
Wouldn't mind working in Arizona, Colorado, or Texas either.

Anyone have any idea on openings in those states?

Thanks.

I've been told at my base in Jax (didn't choose the base though), it would average 75 hrs a month and I applied from SoCal.

If you can contact someone at the hub you want to work at, it’d be good to try to find a name or give them a call. I know here in CO, we are not hiring any pilots. I’ve mentioned above to maybe try to get ahold of a Geomni HR Generalist via LinkedIn or some sort of professional means.

Also forgot to mention it seems like during busy season, you could get up to almost 100 hours in a month. I just finished training today on the C206. It was a good time and they have awesome aircraft that are maintained well. It’s part 91 so our tickets are on the line as far as any maintenance goes and they are good about getting it done and logged correctly.

I believe NorCal is not hiring. Recently, their crews have been dispatched to fly other Southern hub jobs. Sun angle is a short window up North and not a lot of flying going on.

As far as expected annual hours logged, it really depends on the hub you are based out of. Each hub seems to operate independently with regard to how they structure their flight ops.

JAX pilots were logging 100/mo P06T time without a problem in the summer. I’ve heard 116 at times.

Right now, mid west hubs seem to be in need of pilots. That’s about 30 day old info.

Anyone have any updated info on the interview process? I have a phone interview for the Olathe, KS base this Thursday. Sounds like first interview is more of an HR/get to know you kind of thing, if anyone wants to expand on that?

I applied with 310 TT, Comm. ASEL/AMEL and IR. 15 hours of multi

You’ll probably be speaking to Brad, he’s a good guy. He will probably ask about your experience and just a few get to know you questions. I’m not entirely sure exactly what he will ask though
