Default US Aviation Hiring CFI/CFII/MEI

Good afternoon everyone, I wanted to share with everyone looking for a great place to build hours and instruct a reference to the location I am currently working at.

I am chasing my CFII, been at US Aviation academy since the beginning of December, 2017, and wanted to refer you all to this school, located in Denton, Texas, USA.

We just brought in class 100 on our Chinese program side and also train airforce cadets from all over the globe. There is also a domestic/international program where a lesser amount of students come from.

The academy is currently looking for instructors, fresh CFI or plenty of experience. As many instructors are flowing through the airlines, we are short of instructors and have a huge inflow of students, so there is plenty of work to be done.

I’m currently training 3 students and will be taking 2 more to help out with the workload.

The academy is currently offering:

2,000 dollar sign-on bonus after completion of paid standardization class which is currently a Mom-Fri 40 hour training.

500 dollar relocation bonus (700 if you don’t use 30 days free housing).

30 days free housing

If you are a CFI looking to get your MEI, the academy will pay 50% of all training costs.

I can personally say that this academy is much better than where I got my training back at Sanford. The students are very polite, courteous and normally thrilled to learn. I have been having a decent learning curve as language barriers are never easy to get across.

We are currently refurbishing all our C172 models for instrument training incorporating full glass cockpits and have 2 that will be done in the upcoming months

Our King Air instructor program now pays 35/hr ground and flight time so if you have 1,500 and want to teach in there, that is a certain possibility.

Just wanted to throw in that I will personally pay anyone who comes here and completed standards class, $300 as a token of gratitude.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me by Cell: (786) 374- 6968 or e-mail: [email protected]

Is a CFII an incentive like the MEI, or are you doing it out of pocket on your own? Are you in Denton or Sherman? How many hours are you flying and billing each week or month?

Pre-tax, paid at the end of standardization? Is it contingent upon a certain employment commitment (i.e. 1000hrs dual given or 12 months or something?

Bonus is paid out over 400 hours of billable time (ground and flight). That is for every 100 hours of time, you'll get 25% of the bonus. Pre-tax as you mentioned.

To answer your question above, you can get CFII and MEI at very reduced costs with an hour commitment.

I see on the website under fleet there are no single engine complex aircraft. Do students just go straight CMEL? Do the 152's have the GNS430?

We have three Piper Arrows but they are dedicated exclusively to the Alliance Airport location supporting Tarrant County College. Most students at DTO and GYI are international and do a CMEL. We've recently bought a few more Senecas and they should hit the flight line soon, bring total count of Senecas to 19 aircraft.

The C152s are steam gauge but do have ADS-B.

The goal is 100-120, but can be lower of higher depending on time of year, your certifications (CFI+CFII helps a lot vs CFI only), and personal motivation.

Sorry for the late response!
They will help you attain your CFII and MEI at half cost upon a training agreement (typically 500 hours dual given for each)

The figures are pre-tax, and disbursement begins on the following month after the initial date of stands completion, once per month at the Denton location. Sign on bonuses are not based on anything but completing standards class.

I personally had a rough start due in part to a lack of teaching methods for students not understanding information, waiting for them to pass exams and cancellations for weather. Flight time to expect with some delays and a 3-4 student load in the private curriculum are about 40-50 hours every 2 weeks.
