This is true but with multiple drones it would still be cheaper. Just think if there were 5 drones and drones pilots making 200 a day the cost would be less than 10 hours of time in an airline with pilot. Not to mention for every picture taken someone needs to go door knocking to sell the picture.

How are you planning to get 5 drone pilots to work for $200/day? They make more doing work in specialized fields. Even if you could find someone to do it for that cheap how many houses would he/she be able to shoot in a day? Where farms are half a mile to mile between there’s just no way to be productive. There’s a reason of all the aerial photography companies shooting farms none are using drones. Maybe you might find a way to do it productively? Having done it I can tell you the distance flown in a day and the amount of pictures I was able to capture in that same day, a drone would not be able to keep up. Just imagine how much batteries you would need?

batteries can be rechargered in the car. If planning is done the guy sellling can do take a quick drone course, get his license and take the pictures himself. He can plot all the estates he wants to do in one area. Budget half the day to take picturesg and half the day to sell. If he staggers the houses he can fly for 2 hours and when done flying an area he will be right where he has the pictures from the day before. With these pictures someone still has to go sell them. Mine as well kill 2 birds with one stone.
Drone pilots are not as expensive as you think, there are some that cost a lot but like anything there are thousands of commercial drone pilots with only enough work for some of them. There is no doubt that you can take more pictures in one day with a plane, but you can’t sell them all in one day.
