CFI 900TT looking for salary

Hello everyone,
I am a CFI, currently have a 100% pass rate and I've been instructing for a "year and 4 months" now. I'm trying to find a salary pilot job, hourly as I'm sure you all know pays terribly. However I don't mind the terrible pay. What I do mind is the inconsistent pay. I've gone 3 months with only making $300 because weather, lack of students, and downed aircraft. Anyways if anyone could point me in the right direction to ANY pilot job that pays salary for 900TT that would be fantastic. Thank you very much!

P.S. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada (need to relocate) it's too hot.

Ameriflight would probably hire you as an FO in their accelerated captain program.

Ameriflight woukd likely, keep in mind the contract for ACP. Also, Alpine was posting on here looking for people in SLC. They hire at 900 per the APC profile, no contract either. Look into a lot of 135 operators, you’ll meet the mins for many I think. If you just need a 100hrs though, I’d stick it out with instruction. If you want to go airlines and need 1500tt, best to move out of the type of instruction your doing.

My flight academy is hiring, if you still would like to instruct. PM me if interested.

North to Alaska, go north the rush is on.....

And the pay is substantially more than when I first went there.

I’m making $30/hr and billing 30 to 40 hours per week. It really depends on where you instruct. I’m in Phoenix and we stay busy.

As others have said, you can start looking at some part 135 stuff. Alpine and Ameriflight might take you. Tradwind and Planesense start hiring around those hours too. Then there’s Advanced Air down in Southern California. Many 135 fractional and some corporate will take résumés around 1000 hours. Where do you want to end up? If you’re trying to get another 500 hours and go to a regional, just go to a busier school and finish those hours. Otherwise, you’re going to find yourself somewhere else and either tied to a training contract, or at least pressured into feeling bad for getting some hours and bailing.
