Default low hour pilot looking for any kind of job

I currently live in san diego and looking to get any kind of job to build hrs. I currently have my commercial multi and single with instrument. In total I have 330 hrs with 108 in multi. Can anyone out there help me out in finding something or point out to where i should I apply to. I am currently looking at survey pilot gigs since i hear its a quick way to build hours. I am willing to relocate.

Thanks for the help guys and girls.

Sky lens just opened up their application window. They are widely considered to be one of the best survey gigs.

If anyone is thinking about working at Skydive AZ, they need to read this thread first:

I know several people that flew for SDAZ. They were quite happy with the experience. Most of the skydiving pilot jobs are treated as contract work. It is a very good way to get turbine twin time in a short period.

But by all means, read that thread. Call and talk to former pilots. I can't think of any that would not recommend working for SDAZ for a while.

I don't work there, I do fly jumpers. If I lived in the Eloy area, I'd submit an application for PT work there in a second (I have a FT job).

What kind of schedule would a PT pilot have? Do PT pilots have to give an 18-month commitment?

These would be questions for them. I have not had any connection to SDAZ since the late 90's and then only as a jumper.

My current gig is "I fly when I want and when they need me." I have flown 130 hours in about 6 months. Sometimes I fly all weekend, other times I fly three or four loads in a row so the pilot can have a bio-break. My current gig did not require a contract.

Works for me... When not flying jumpers, I jump or fly my Pitts. I am at the DZ/Airport anyway.
