Star Marianas
I was wondering if anyone here worked for Star Marianas and could me some insight into how the job went. Essentially a job review. How was the work, did you have problems finding housing / transportation, etc .

Working for star Marianas is a fun adventure and a good intro to building hours. The planes are sketchy, the weather changes fast, and upgrade time is quick. The only thing that would make me rethink going back is if Robert “Bob” Christian is the CEO. Most of the time he is on vacation for months at a time but when he is around he threatens the pilots to fly. I’ve heard him threaten some of them with death, belive it or not. He is an abusive employer and will try and force you to fly even if it breaks major regulations and safety hazards. I would never go there if I knew I was going to work under him. Ask if he is around before you go. If he is not the company is run by his son Shaun who is a very understanding boss who really does focus a lot of safety and treats the pilots moderately well. Just know your FAR’s, know your rights, and just save enough to come home early.

Did "Bob" expound upon his methods of execution?

Says the guy that goes drinking until 4am in the morning and doesn't show up for work multiple times. Do not listen to this guy he's just ****ed he got canned for being a drunk. |
It’s a long way and there are better and closer gigs, but if you like to SCUBA dive, Tinian is AWESOME.
