Default Farm Measurement

Has anyone ever heard of Farm Measurement? They apparently perform photo missions for agriculture. Applied a few weeks ago from a posting on the orange site and they responded saying they will be doing paid training in February and start flying in March. They have no website and I can't find any info about them.

Thanks!

I think they do contract work for Terravion, I applied through the Terravion website over the summer and was told they don't directly hire pilots but I was contacted by their pilot hiring PIC shortly after explaining how they operate and received the same email as you from Robert just this week at Farm Measurement explaining that they will be interviewing in January and start training in February. They do crop imaging all over the US it sounds like.

Default do not apply to Farm Measurement

Rumor is they have gone bankrupt and the planes are getting locked up. Would not trust their operations guy, he has very little GA experience and likes to make absurd suggestions about when/where to fly. Stay away from them and TerrAvion.

I flew for them briefly, started out flying a Piper Arrow but decided to quit once they wanted me to operate a Van's RV (experimental) for hire. I started asking questions about the legality of operating experimental aircraft for hire and they said their aviation lawyer said what they were doing was legal but I opted to quit because I wasn't comfortable with it.
