Seeking commercial pilot for survey work, immediate opening. Build up to 1,000 hours per year, traveling across North America to perform survey grid flights. Single pilot, low altitude, single engine operation. Requires extensive travel. Hotel and transportation provided. Per day food/misc. items expense allowance of $50. Must be willing to relocate to southern Michigan. Requirements; single engine commercial, 250 hours. Training provided for Beechcraft Bonanza. IPC style check ride is part of the interview process, all hand flown. This is a salaried position starting at $40,000. Benefits available, including bonus pay opportunities. Skill Set:
-Operate independently
-Attention to detail
-Basic mechanical understanding of aircraft systems
-Equipment troubleshooting (training provided)
-Fly a one mile grid pattern (training provided)
-Willing to operate at night and at low altitude
-Single pilot IMC (must be able to hand fly aircraft and not rely on autopilot)
-Efficient planning
-Willing to travel for extended periods of time
