Default 700 Hour Pilot

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for jobs with my current hours. Currently at 700 hours, also currently working as a survey pilot. Summer's been kind of slow, with weather and such, and still in a C172. Not complaining, as hours are hours, regardless of what kind of plane it is.

Most of the jobs I have been looking at thus far, it seems the minimum threshold is around 800 hours, with some wanting the written ATP already completed. Other than that, it seems 1000 or the majority are at 1200 for the IFR min requirements.

Any and all job suggestions will be appreciated. Location doesn't matter as I am willing to relocate anywhere, even overseas and/or out of country.

Other than when there's a typhoon, it's really kind of neat. And you'll never have to worry about people looking at your resume, shrugging their shoulders, and saying "meh." It'll always attract a comment at least.

Knowing conversational Japanese is a plus.

I thought Planesense was 500?
Mokulele or whatever it’s called?
Being single and flying a Caravan around Hawaii would be awesome.

It depends on what you want to do.

If you want to go to the airlines then if I were you I would stick with whatever gets you there the fastest (probably survey). How many hours are you averaging a month?

If you want to do freight, I would look at Ameriflight.

If you want to do private or charter, look at Cape Air or Tradewinds or another type of 135 operator... etc.
