Atlanta Time Building for a CFI?
Moving to ATL next month. I've called/emailed every flight school in and around Atlanta and no one is hiring. Im at 380TT with instrument rating, CFI, Comm SEL and MEL. Anyone got any leads on anything in the area?
Thanks
Thanks

I would keep visiting schools. There are several schools in the greater ATL area. I you want to make a list of places you've been I can probably come up with a few more. Turnover is high so I would say it shouldn't take long especially if you show a desire to work there.

Falcon isn't hiring? Seems just a few months ago they were begging for CFI's on their facebook page. As previously mentioned, turnover is rampant so keep knocking on their doors.

It was Phoenix East. I’m currently a part 61 instrument student there. I think the 141 ops have started, but I’m only there on weekends and don’t have a lot of insight to it.
New mgt added a Redbird FMX, brought in a pair of 172S with G5 HSI / GTN 650, and started getting rid of some of the leasebacks.

I’d say their prices are pretty competitive for the Atlanta area, certainly better than anything at PDK. All pricing has 3 tiers; walk-in, club, or pre-pay (available to club members only and requires a small balance to qualify).
I’m flying one of the 172S with the G5/GTN650 and the rates are $177/$163/$158 per hour. They have 4 aircraft at that price level. They have one G1000/GFC700 172S for $222/$205/$199. They have 3 legacy 172 models (1 M and 2 Ns), with pre-pay rates ranges from $127-$148. There is also a Grumman Tiger for $166/$153/$149.
The FMX is $100/$90/$88. Currently it only has a G1000 172 set up, but they are supposed to be getting a steam gauge panel.
Instructors are $73/$63/$57 and senior instructors are $76/$69/$62 per hour.
They will be using a DA-42 for multi training, but it has not arrived yet. I don’t think there will be much multi demand beyond the 141 students, so they probably aren’t in a rush to move one up from Florida
