Ferry Flying
I am a commercial pilot and I have done a couple ferry flights since the beginning of the year as chances have presented themselves. The last one was a coast to coast flight and I had a great time doing it and I was thinking that it would be great to be able to do more trips. Both trips have been moving planes for local flight schools that I fly with so I have no connections or way to get more flights.
What would be the best way to go about getting more trips? Is there a place where jobs are posted? I have seen the global air website, but trips seem limited and hard to come by.

I've done ferry flying through a flight school (mainly when the school bought/sold aircraft) but I am considering getting into independent flying. Is there anything I have to set up in order to do this safely/legally? Mainly thinking insurance (would i need my own insurance or be listed under the owner's policy?) or writing contracts with potential clients? Any help in that area would be greatly appreciated

Starting a LLC is super easy and can be done on the internet.
Insurance is really why these ferry company's charge so much.
If it's something you really want to do, then do it right!
You don't want to ruin your life just because someones engine fails with you ferrying it.
