Cadet Programs
 

Hello! I am an independent flight instructor with roughly 550 total flight hours. I have seen that regional airlines seem to be hiring a high amount of cadets. Ive been applying the cadet programs this past month, but haven’t heard back from any yet (Ive heard it can take a while to get a response). Ive heard that regionals tend to gravitate towards 141 schools and low-time pilots, although Im not sure. I graduated from a 141 schools but now Im working independently. I was just curious if anyone here has recently been accepted as a cadet? And if so what is your flight experience. Or if you have any insight on cadet programs that would be super helpful, thanks!
