Twotter Information

Anybody know where I can get a supplement or some other kind of information on a DHC-6-200 that was upgraded from the Dash 20 engines to the Dash 27 engines? I can't find any performance information, etc... I have an information manual and checklist for the aircraft, but nothing for the engine upgrade.

Thanks.

Did you try Viking?

Nope. What's Viking? Got the manual from Essco, but they don't have the a supplement for a Dash 27 conversion

Viking is a company that bought the plans for the twotter from Dehaviland. They are currently about to roll the first production -400 twotters off the line. Viking Air. I do believe that they own the beaver, otter and caribou as well. Not sure about the buffalo though. I would think that for any needs of manuals etc... they would be the company to contact. Hope this helps. Also I do believe that Viking is thinking aobut trying a limited run of producing the other aircraft.

From the viking Air web site.

"Viking is the owner of the Type Design and Certificates relating
to de Havilland Aircraft product lines; DHC-1 Chipmunk, DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-2T Turbo Beaver, DHC-3 Otter, DHC-4 Caribou, DHC-5 Buffalo, DHC-6 Twin Otter, DHC-7 Dash 7."
