Corporate Pilot / Admin Assistant Job Opening
JOB OVERVIEW
Act as pilot in command of Cirrus SR22 Turbo aircraft as defined by the Cirrus Flight Standards and Pilot’s Operating Handbook and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. Pilot must be licensed and experienced in the Cirrus SR22 aircraft. Ideal candidate would have at least a CFII and Cirrus experience to include CSIP or transition training completed, although not required. Pilot is for small company flight operations and must be enthusiastic, dedicated to safety, optimistic, and have a strong work ethic. Candidate will also assist the management in the corporate office. Experience with computers and a thorough knowledge of Windows software and Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
· Responsible for flight plans and corporate flight missions.
· Provide company pilot flight training.
· Responsible for maintaining and scheduling of factory suggested maintenance.
· Cleaning of aircraft / hangar.
· Charts and navigation database updates.
· Maintain proficiency in aircraft training materials and operations.
· Review and maintain management calendars, add/remove meetings and events as requested.
· Collect Daily Reports, Weekly Forecasts and Financial Statements, organize and input data from spreadsheets accordingly, file and distribute as required.
· Gather mail and distribute daily into “in-boxes”.
· Assist in trash compaction and recycling when required.
· Sustain office supplies, break room items, and cleaning supplies.
· Send out reminders for monthly regional meetings and prepare lunch for attendees.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATONS AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· High School degree plus at least Commercial, Instrument ratings. Minimum of 15 hours in Cirrus SR22 or equivalent type aircraft. Office management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must speak fluent English, other languages would be beneficial.
This job requires an ability to perform the following:
· Frequently standing up and/or moving within and outside the facility
· Carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds
· Handling various objects
· Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
· Manage and organize various types of hotel data.
I'm the current pilot/assistant and will be leaving for the regionals here soon. There isn't a hard date of when I'll be leaving but I expect it to be Jan or Feb time frame. PM for more details if you're interested. Thanks.

Location is Indianapolis, IN
Pay is $17.30/hr for the full time assistant/pilot duties at 40 hours / week. Schedule is typical of an office job with flying here and there.

Thanks Ted. I know there are some CSIPS out there who would like a job like this one. It would be particularly good if you could teach on the side as well. I wonder if there are several airplanes, or just one.

I'm the guy with the job right now. Looking to jump to the regionals here soon. There's 1 plane, and honestly it's not a whole lot of flying, but from what the boss man was saying 2011 should be better. He has his private and wants to work on his instrument...we havent really accomplished much training but he has a basic understanding of instrument procedures. Trip lengths vary from 1 day business trips around Indiana to week long vacations (paid). I went out to Jackson Hole for a week with his family and there have been talks about Grand Cayman here in the spring...who knows! PM me if anyone wants more details.
