Became a CFI yesterday
Hi folks,
A few months ago I came here looking for advice because I was nervous about being a CFI; both the checkride and the potential responsibility it comes with. I got some good advice and support here, and you all wanted to me to let you know what happens. Passed the ride yesterday. Still somewhat in disbelief. Inspector was happy overall and said my flying and knowledge were great. I still don't plan to be a flight school instructor though; I plan to use my CFI mainly in civil air patrol. Thanks APC. |
Awesome! Congrats! :)

A huge milestone. Congratulations.

Congratulations!!! I remember when I got mine.
Awesome achievement :). You'll be amazed at how much you learn teaching others! |
Congratulations! Enjoy it.

Congratulations!! Working on my CFI as well.

Yesterday I did my first flights as a CFI. It was amazing how much I learned. Don't limit yourself. Give it a try. Even if it confirms your views. Congratulations on passing!

Congrats! As I reflect on my CFI (obtained in 1991) I can't help but think of the number of student logbooks my social security number appears in - back in the day before we had distinct numbers...

Awesome, mate. Good work and have fun.

Congrats!!!
A CFI is a lot of work to get accomplished. Go celebrate!!!! |
I remember ! Congratulations are in order !

The "double eye" is a great money maker. You keep the private students and still fly/do ground trainer instruction in IMC conditions. The American Flyers FIRC is also pretty painless for renewing your CFI. Congrats and safe flying!

Welcome to the club !

Well done Mike.
