Mokulele Airlines

Currently an FO at Mokulele. Life is great out here. The flying is amazing. We are flying in VFR 90% of the time, but occasionally there are days where it is mostly IFR out. Company housing is provided during training and the accommodations aren't bad. But be ready cause they will send you out once ground school is over and you have to find your own place. My advice is get an idea of where they are gonna send you ahead of time so you can find a house or room. Right now our Big Island bases are fairly full with SIC's. PIC's are a little understaffed right now so be ready to fly a lot. Hope this answers some of your questions.
Thoughts on which bases new hire FOs will go to?

Just an assumption, but it looks like they've finished hiring for the year. A big maybe on an open December class, but looks like next year for it to pick back up. Wont hurt to apply though.

Since they don't have any posted FO openings, is an email to their listed address for 'Employment' an appropriate place to just send a resume and cover letter?

afaik the only company that have some kind of Op Spec in that way is Ameriflight. Also their op specs allows for reduced captain mins and you can't use the time for ATP. Can you provide the Op Spec number mokulele uses? I'm in the same boat trying to figure out if some hours are okay or not.
