It's a big 172, there's a few more buttons and levers they'll show you if you have to fly it.

I applied to them 27 weeks ago BUT I was told to send my resume to [email protected]
I was around 320 Total Time at the time.
im around 350 now BUT I haven't heard anything from them.

That seems to be the general consensus. Even people who heard from them initially like myself eventually never had further contact. They told me I was to hear from the Chief Pilot no matter what and that was in August...

Don't give up guys. I have a friend who got the offer with 320tt but he had a few internal recs.

I've sent in a few resumes, just because I got no response and wanted to make sure they had something for me, but still no reply. This was back in November. I'm at 800 hrs ex military fixed wing.

Does anyone happen to know if the new ATP (1500hr) law affect Mokulele? I believe they were passed last year. If they do, it seems like all of us low time guys are unhirable. What options would we have at this point?

As far as I understand, they are still part 135, so their mins for PIC are 1200 hours. The way I understand it is that they don't have a minimum on the FO because they don't have to have one since they have AP. Someone who has a better grasp than I do could probably make that more clear.

Ah great! Well that's a small glimmer of hope. Now to hope some response comes from them or some other job comes along.

As hawakeye stated, no ATP is required as they are flying single engine aircraft on Part 135 Scheduled flights. Now if they had twins or were Pt 121, then yes one would have been required.

They have no TT requirement for FO. I do not know if they have the Autopilot authority and choose not to use it, thereby requiring the FO or if they did not get the authority to begin with as their planes all have the very capable Garmin GFC 700 Autopilot installed.

Outside of Mokulele, do you guys know any other gigs that are good for building time?
