In what respect? There are a lot of ways to build time.

Seaport Airlines. The DO there used to work at Mokulele.

Sorry, should have clarified, basically ANY flying jobs based out of Oahu. I've got mostly military Boeing 707 time, but not quite enough yet for the ATP so I find myself in an annoying position.

Thanks for the tips on Sierra Academy and SeaPort, I'll definitely keep those in mind if I'm able to leave the islands, but for now I need to stick to Honolulu for family.

Thanks guys!

Default Mokulele

I just sent them my resume a few days back, nothing back from them yet, which is understandable since I expressed I won't be able to work until I graduate in August.

Thanks Tpinks, but I'd also like to get my hours up to 1500 as soon as possible to get an unrestricted ATP (Don't want to spend the $5000+ on the ATP course just yet)

My understanding is that there is no difference in the licensing process between the two and that once you hit the normal requirement for whatever criteria the restricted ATP was issued on, it reverts to a normal ATP.

So for people who are 23+ but got the RATP with reduced times, once they hit 1500hrs it becomes a normal ATP.

Or for people who were 21/22 and had 1,500hrs or more, once they turn 23 it becomes a normal ATP.

How to apply to Mokolele Airlines? I'm at 285 TT CSEL. Email or phone number for the recruiting department? Website only has the customer service number.

Most of the regionals are starting in-house CTP programs. You can work for one with a west coast base and commute to HNL with your 750 hour rATP
