Have you looked at the Army National Guard or Reserves?

Most helicopter ads I've seen want 1,000 hrs. in helicopters. Though might find some jobs as low as 500 TT in helicopters. Probably your best chance is to get your CFI/II in helicopters. Also, check out VerticalReference.com. It is a good site and has a lot less complaining than the people on JH. Good luck.

Sorry but in the current market you will have an almost zero chance of finding work until at least 1000hrs. PIC helicopters. You could possibly find a job with 500hrs but it would be a very small chance! Like what was said above you need to CFI your way to more hours. Oh and fixed wing time is almost useless when it comes for looking for a helicopter job, they want helicopter PIC.

Its tough out there for entry level work but networking is the most important thing you can do in aviation!
