Most people want to go out as much as possible as you make more money on the road. However, we do have a few pilots who don't like to, so they more or less stay there.
For the deploying pilots, there is no standard length, you could be out from Philly for a single night or you might not see Philly for six months, which is what one pilot did last year. When I first started, I was in Philly for two weeks getting all the employment paperwork done as well as going everything to prepare us for the job and then they sent me to Florida for 56 days.
After that, I came back to Philly just to pick up my car to drive back to Pittsburgh as I was taking two weeks off. Went back out to Philly and was there for three weeks before they sent me out on my current deployment which I have been out for ten days now and will be out for at least another week or two if not longer.

Hey guys, my first post on this forum. I was just curious about a little info on the company. I just noticed they lowered their minimum hour requirements to 350tt and 20 of multi. I currently have 368tt and 19 multi. I noticed all the information posted about the company was from a couple years ago. Just looking for some more updated info if anything has changed. Thanks.

Been flying survey for the past year in the C206 (approx. 650 hrs in TU206 doing survey) both US and Intl. Looking to get some quality multi time and with my TT at 975, 23ME, not many options. What is good for competitive? Thank you.

There are quite a bit of 135 companies hiring for SIC's in jets it seems like these days. I see mins. of 1000TT all over the place especially on the orange site...

Basic Part 91 questions:
1) Speed limits below 10,000
2) Speed limits in Class D
3) What are 3 ways to determine pattern entry for an uncontrolled airport?
4) How would you enter a controlled airport?
Other questions were scenario based...you have 2.5 hours of fuel, there is 2 hours remaining on your imaging job, base airport is 2.5 hours away, there is an uncontrolled airport 15 mins away with fuel...what would you do?
There were probably 3 or 4 other scenario based or math computational questions...plus on that was somewhat "loaded".
Overall, nothing a 350 hour pilot or CFI could not pass.
