Digital knowledge test endorsement?
 

Haven't instructed for a couple years and had a buddy who lives across the country ask if I can sign him off for his instrument written. Can I print up the endorsement, sign it, scan it, and email it to him to print out? Is it allowed per the FAA? I guess he could try it and maybe the testing center could either accept it or not?

You could physically mail it.

I could, but it would be much easier to do everything digitally. He's off for a couple days and can go ahead and knock it out tomorrow or the day after.

you CAN do anything, it would be up to the testing facility whether or not they would accept it....
