Flying jobs in Colorado?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping that maybe some of you could give me some ideas/advice on any airlines, cargo companies or really any other flying oppertunities that are in the Denver/Colorado Springs area who are hiring an FO?

I have 700 TT and am looking to try and find something in a 208 or really anything. I am working as a CFI now, the flying is slowing down for the Winter Season and I don't foresee myself getting more than 30-50 hours per month until next summer starts. No hours = no money... :(

I know of KeyLime and Lakes, but don't really want to go to either of those places. I don't really know what other flying opportunities there are around here besides being a CFI. I don't want to move at the moment either, which I know limits me career-wise. I love CO.

Just hoping maybe you guys could give me some recommendations or advice based on experience.

Thanks!

There's a jump operation down in Canyon City that uses a C208... I know they were looking for a pilot to pickup weekend flying a few months ago. I'd assume they found someone by now.... then again you never know, so maybe give em a call.

Boutique Air has a base in Colorado. SIC gig for PC-12. They are chasing EAS contracts that Great Lakes and Seaport recently lost.

Hey I know it's not your number 1 choice but I went to lakes back in 2010 and now I'm working for United. I know a lot of people that have taken the same path and are in similar positions here, frontier, atlas, and really all over the place. If your at 700 hours just get your time in anywhere you can. Lakes has a great history of pilots that have worked there and will do anything to help a fellow laker out.. Just food for thought.:D

I appreciate everyone's input! I have to look into 16V. That's quite a drive for me... I live in Denver.

I have thought about Lakes, it seems like that may be my only option unless I move away from CO, which I don't want to do.

Keep instructing until you reach part 135 IFR mins. That will open doors for you when you get there.
Good luck.

International Jet is looking for SICs in their Lears out of APA. You could upgrade in a year there and start building TPIC. They typically want guys with an ATP or ATP written though, but it wouldn't hurt to try!
