Anyone have info on the single engine side of things? A friend trying to break into the industry has had two interviews and a follow up with them soon. I've never heard of them before, but they seem different than your run of the mill aerial survey companies. Any info on the pay scale, QOL, part v. full time etc?

I interviewed there (phone interview) about a month ago. Made it past HR and speaking with the chief pilot, seemed like a great gig then I never heard back from HR the CP said he was very interested but there must have been some sort of disconnect.

For the single engine stuff it’s all in 172s and 206s they have 1 182 that they keep in LWM for testing purposes. It’s a 90 on 90 off rotation they Airline you to and from. Never got into the pay but the CP said it was well above industry standard for a 206, as well as I believe it was $45 a day in perdiem. It is a W2 position not a 1099 so you don’t have to worry about taking your own taxes out.

Single engine didn’t require a Clereance and stays mostly CONUS but if you move up to the King Air for the OCONUS rotations the company will sponsor the Clereance.

Is this position just flying or surveying as well?

You are there strictly to fly the plane, there will be a sensor operator aboard as well.
