I am trying to get off the lawn mower for the hair dryer, but that is for the base I want. I like flying the air beater.

Approximately how much do you pay for health insurance with 3 kids?
Is it a high deductible premium?

Make that magawhacka money and then transfer to the jet 6 mo. before you flow. Just went through jet sim and ready for the 73 or Airbus.

That's the way to do it.

Thanks! I heard some horror stories elsewhere regarding premiums and coverage.

Obamacare was about 50% of the reason I got back into the airline world. The insurance here is amazing in comparison to the headaches we dealt with. I am jaded because of what my family had to endure under that **** show. The insurance here lets me sleep at night very well because I know my family is taken care of in that aspect.

The pilot contract is another story, but it's something I'll endure to keep the solid coverage we have and I'll be volunteering with the Union to make things better.

Someone coming in w/ 1300 part 121 SIC hours these days - how quick to upgrade?
Is estimated flow still roughly ~5-6 years?

Question of flow: (and I'm not 100% sure of each aircraft base for AA, so this is just a for-instance) .. let's say you live in Miami. Your # comes up for flow and it's a class date for the A320 and the base is Phoenix or NY. (again, maybe they have A320s in Miami.. not the point!)
But you'd rather get a class for the 757/767 w/ a Miami base… can you "defer" until that comes available? Or are you "stuck" with what you got?

Question about PDT: I know there's been rumors but any more rumors about possible new routes going further west?? They currently only seem to work the mid-Atlantic region.
