Those are things we can address in the January opener.

Hit the nail on the head Justin!

Add these to the list.

Only considered Junior man if it's more than 4 hours. (How about reducing the time to an hour from when it was scheduled to end or if additional legs are added on.)
-Drug test notification via check out message (That's a career killer if its missed, something that important should be handled from one human to another in person maybe as you walk off the plane)

We should take a page from Trans States. Treat PBS as more beneficial to the company and negotiate major contract improvements in exchange for its implementation.

I think big priorities should be on interface abuse, junior manning, raising min days off, change from modified min day to true min day, and most importantly pay scale increases across the board.

Sorry for the question, but I'm new to some of this. If you're pulled for a random drug test, they don't notify you personally? Coming from a trucking career, that is mind blowing. We get 6 month randoms and were notified either in person or via a phone call and then have so many hours to get to a facility.

It's via a check-out message on the computer. The problem is that sometimes the people who are charged with putting those messages in the system forget.

And if they do forget that's not your problem. You check in and out on the computer, your job is done. I believe there was an incident recently but it was resolved in the Pilot's favor. In some stations like MDT the tester cannot get into the secure area.

THIS! If a trip in a current month touches a trip in the next month, it should be dropped with credit.

If you are referring to a conflict caused by the bid award process you would be the only airline (including majors) I am aware of to grant a paid drop in that situation.
If on the other hand you mean a conflict caused by a reserve assignment or a trip being extended then pay protection is the norm at many airlines.

No.. the first for days of month the company has a right to add any flying or standby days they wish.. it's a major issue with us having such low staffing for all the flying required.
