Last I checked, pro standards doesn’t care about would-be union representatives having skeletons in their closet.
They do care about professionalism though, which seems to be the issue that everyone was bringing up about the captain in question earlier in the thread.

Agreed. I should not have used this particular person in my response earlier (or any person for that matter). Granted, no names were said, it appears as many, like me are aware. Pro standards may not even be able to do anything as of yet or even have reason to.
Ok, edited for maturity. This probably wasn’t an appropriate place to bring it up. The party could be in here and don’t like creating any ill will since we technically all should stick and work together.

I think the ones who are aware can agree that this is an attitude/judgement making ability issue that has made this person now. No rules were broken, no violations, and safety wasn’t put into jeopardy when we flew together but his attitude and the way he spoke like he was better than everyone made me say something to this person. My advice was ignored as said person is never wrong. You simply don’t start an argument with a ramp controller telling them they are not “real FAA”
then telling them how they should be doing there job because said person was “ATC” for a brief time. Please also don’t tell me you don’t want to fly the plane because your wife is in the back and she wants to hear you do all the announcements. Ok, Ill stop before I write a book. I can see future issues arising with this individual.

If you say so.

Skeletons? Shall we talk about skeletons?

C’mon guys, enough is enough. I am 100% sure that guy is in here because I heard him talk about APC before. And while I agree with some of what was said about his personality, this is not the place to be talking about this. If you had a very negative experience with said person, call our pro standards committee members. They do a great job.
