Does that bump the flow back down to 5 per month?

I just want to get through training and onto the line at this point.

Union leadership has been working on DOH SLI language with flow protections for PDT Pilots recently. Wouldn’t be surprising if that came with fences for aircraft/bases.
Who’s union is working on this? Ours or Envoy?

They need aircraft flying. The only way to ensure that is to keep a healthy sized pilot group.

PDTs.

Envoys Union gave their SLI proposal last time the two groups met in DC...

No point in even caring about the flow if you’ve been here less than 2 years. Get your time and apply out. No point waiting 7-8 years when you’ll probably be marketable before then.

On whos direction? Did AA say this was in the cards? I just dont see this. Why would they take the time to transfer all the planes over?

Because they probably had hoped piedmont could of run the operation correctly.

Not trying to stir the pot, just trying to wrap my head around it all. With attrition higher than expected, then wouldn’t that bump people’s expected flow up a couple months? Maybe I’m still too green to see the negative from it all but if this trend continues then things would have to improve?

PDT won’t see flow increase from growth of the pilot group for a long time if ever.

Might not be too long before upgrades stop because they can’t afford release FOs from the line for 6 months to replace a departed captain while they wait 11 months for NHs to complete training to replace the upgraded FO.
Outside observer here, wondering why Piedmont management continually cannot get ahead of training. For year after year.
Have seen your schedules, as I recommended a friends son in 2016.
They just seem to waste all of your lives with low time 4 day trips. And you don't have any rigs to prevent them from defaulting to stupid. Seems his son is parked in hotel rooms far more than he flies. How anyone thinks building a month of low time low paying trips with hotel stays is good business is beyond me. It's simply insane. Total waste of crews, and you don't have enough. The minimum time for a four day should be 20 hard hours, and should actually be around 25.
It makes absolutely no sense why they don't have multiple day trips, especially one day trips seeing you only run two hubs.
No wonder nobody will come. The least they could do is pay you a little more and not be known as the lowest paid, but they seem too stupid even for that.
Good luck to all of you. It's totally obvious that your flight management is over their heads. You easily could be run like a mini SWA, but you have all the markings of a pre bankruptcy USAir management.

Wow, that says a lot if true. A company supposedly in business to make money in the airline world modeling their business model on a flow agreement. Sounds like your management came from USAir......
