Special negotiations or not, something has to change. These schedules are ****ing pathetic.
Of all the Captains lines there are TWO 14 day off lines. That's two CAs that will be blessed with 14 days off, and only if scheduling spares them in the interface period, and doesn't take them down to 11.
That's how much the company cares about your quality of life. You could have slogged it out at this ****hole for 20 years, and you're still going to work more than a junior FO at other regionals.
And enjoy your 75 hours of pay.
Why would anyone come here in 2019?

Rumors like that are only leaked to stem the tide of people leaving in advance of summer flying. The Union promised big things prior to the TA and then slow rolled it until after summer to mitigate the effect it would have since it was such a turd.

This summer is going to be interesting and may be the proverbial straw that breaks the camel's back.
Look for lca's to fly as FOs. If the FOs continue to leave in droves expect forced downgrades. When SOE CA's fly as FOs training takes a dive. I believe the feds shut this down last year when they tried it.
If we fall below 725 pilots the flow goes to 5 per month. There is no snap back protection language in the in the flow LOA.
This could have all been avoided last year with a good faith contract, that paid us what we deserve and given us a QOL improvement we deserve.
In my honest opinion I can't see PDT flight ops continuing without a major change.

I’ve been waiting 3 weeks at home since my checkride. It might be another 3 weeks before I see an airplane.

I know at least one FO hired. Try to attend a meet and greet event. Almost everyone that attended the Chicago event got an interview invite the following Monday.

I’m an FO that is going to F9.
Not sure on who else or what is going. I do know their hours range from 2500tt plus for new hires. 3 captains did not get the job in my interview class, one with over 12000tt.
Also, I never got a call from my airline apps resume. I sent an email to the recruiting team based on something I saw on the Internet, and was invited to the meet the chiefs event some months later.
