Wrong, people will come. All young guys care about is money. Plus they値l see reserve time is virtually zero and that they can hold Philly right away.

I know you値l make the PSA argument but you値l start at some crappy outstation like Dayton.

Agreed. People not familiar with the industry don't understand nor are they aware of the details that effect QOL. They'll see the dollar signs and the classes will fill right up. Just like what happened two and a half years ago. In the mean time, absolutely nothing of any significance has gotten better here.

The new hires that will arrive for the new rates will still wait months and months to get on the line and touch a jet. Only now, they'll be making ~$50/hr to sit at home compared to half that rate just a couple years ago.

Plus most of them are young with no family. Most of them would rather be on the road at work then home anyway. Piedmont doesn稚 need that many new hires, just enough to maintain the operation.

We have enough on the seniority list, but I'll be surprised if we'll ever have enough trained line-qualified pilots at any given time, though.
