Piedmont management is very excited about the Embraer Next Gen turbo prop. They want that to replace the 145.

Yah, Isom doubled down on his bad call… those who were going to leave still leave, those who were going to flow stay at a much higher pay rate and those at the top of the pay scale stay since they make more than AA Group IV captains, meanwhile training is full of people who are terrible and only came out of the woodwork for the money, Just in time for the terrible students, Piedmont’s training department kicked back a ton qualified sim instructors to the line so Finley could give his buddies part time jobs as non seniority list instructors
(which he openly admits to doing).

For the March 2023 flow class the Junior pilot flowing is a December 2016 hire date. 6 years and 3 months to flow.

If that holds that is 15 months at top scale $217 or so an hour.
