That is not true. There really are no training delays at AA now other than the standard 3-5 weeks between Indoc and aircraft training for home study of CBT/Ethos.

I know plenty of pilots that were hired in February are in IOE now.

AA has also started increasing class size, which makes sense. They will hire extra in May and July and end up with the same pilots in the end, but not have to flow regional pilots in June.

On June 29 Piedmont had 785 pilots on the Seniority List. Yesterday it was update. 20 July and August New Hires Added. 2 pilots retired, 12 pilots flowed (July and August classes at AA), and 49 pilots quit (hired elsewhere, outside flow AA hires, etc.). 742 total pilots in Seniority List now.

Believe this is on par with other regional attrition. The CA and FO balance is getting much better. Only about 30 excess FOs in PHL now.

Piedmont attrition will get worse once the enhanced pay rates expire in August 2024.

That will get extended if mainline overlord wants it to get extended. Think they have an FA contract to get through before any adjustments to the WO triplets are made.

If there is still a need and it is justified, it will be entended.

Being myopic (nearsighted) is not beneficial.

Townhall this morning. Official answer was refuted in a union email later today. Spicy.

Something else to consider for those considering piedmont: once you leave, plan on getting invoices in the mail from ALPA and the IRS for years to come. This is the 4th letter in the mail I’ve gotten this year saying I owe money due to piedmont incorrectly taking out the appropriate amount per paycheck. I left piedmont 2 years ago…

No surprise, this company has become a mismanaged disaster by all of the so called "leaders", particularly the VP and DO. I feel like they hate the pilots.

meh not exactly. MK is just not a people person and can’t communicate in a normal manner. He’s just butt hurt because his pilot career never took off. as for EL he’s a good dude, he’s just doing his job. Remember piedmonts business structure is the same from the Dash8, this is not something that can change as it’s how we stay in business. piedmont is a true REGIONAL so EL is just working with the tools given. Overall once EL came to piedmont a LOT of good things happend like immediately. So if you haven’t been at piedmont for more than 6 years, just know it was worse
