The union should make a push for a 5 hour min day, trip/duty rigs, or simply more minimum days off (the worst choice). Without some sort of soft pay mechanism; barring an additional bank of flying, new equipment, longer stage lengths, or outstation basing, 11 days off will persist into the foreseeable future.
Best of luck to yall.

I mean I get what you're saying, but taking into account longer flights, the dash 8 simply made some legs higher credit than the 145 does. Combine that with less banks of flying in PHL and losing the outstation base legs... It's not a mystery as to why the schedules at PDT are so abysmal. AA and PDT business decision-making combined to create an environment where you will never reach the 90 hour credit limit laid out in scheduling language, thus 11 days off.

If the bank structure were to blame, wouldn't you still be able to fly more legs per day under the same bank structure thus crediting more? That's exactly what we used to do on the dash. I'll agree, you are 100% correct on min day, trip and duty rigs.
PDT pilots sit in hotels for 20 hours when they should be flying, and I don't think we can blame the bank structure or the type of flying the company does for that.

Nope, but we all know that is standard ops from the union. Probably losing too many people and company doesn't want them to publish how many are jumping ship... On that note, glad to see so many people getting AA, Spririt, etc invites and job offers.
