You don't know pdt than... more than 60 percent of our 4 day trips are only 16 hour credit due to our modified minimum day credit. You can count on 4 hours pay credit a day at piedmont.. we really don't have soft money and lack duty and trip rigs. We are honestly so far behind every other airline.

Dude you even work here? If you did you would know we don't have good trip or duty rigs. We have trip averaging. You can fly 6 plus hours day one and day 4 and still end up with your trip only being worth 16 hours credit.

Can you explain this. PBS has absolutely nothing to do with how rotations or pairings are constructed. It sole function is placing those pairings on a pilots schedule.

I’m under the impression that it does build pairings...

Some PBS programs build pairings, and some simply place pre-built pairings on your schedule. I believe that the program that's being looked at by the company and the union is the former.

If there is a PBS program that builds pairings in the award process they are keeping it top secret. No airline I am aware of has such a program. It would be nearly impossible to even consider doing it that way because you would have no idea of transportation or hotel requirements until far to late to reliably book. In addition you would not know actual staffing requirements. Airlines usually have at least a initial pairing construction complete 60 days prior to the start of a bid month.

Every time I see someone posting in this thread I think to myself: “they’re god awful”. There really isn’t much else too it.

Anyone who knows anything about this place knows the PBS is years down the road, if it comes at all. Don’t consider this pace for what it could be, because you’ll be continually disappointed.

At the earliest I see a loa at the end of the year and than at least a 3 year implementation.

PBS is the least of our problems...

I’m a Piedmont cadet, can anyone clarify if it is 4 “day trips” (i.e. home at night) or a 4 day period conisiting of overnight trips and staying in a hotel room. It’s nearly impossible to get recruiting to respond to me.

4 day trip means you leave base on day one and get home day four. They will probably respond and remind you its a four year flow.
