Piedmont schedules
Hey everyone. Can you all give me an idea of schedules. I’ve heard 4 on 2 off. Do you bid? Are the lines pretty much the same? All overnights or mix of day, 1,2,&3? etc.., any feeling if contract negotiations will help/change schedules? Trying to get an idea of qol vs upgrade time vs flow vs PSA or somewhere else. Thank you for your advice.

Thanks PDT flyer. I know that no regional is perfect but others seem to have a better qol but longer upgrade or flow. I was watching flights on FlightAware and surprised to see so few PDT flights at any given time. How many more deliveries are scheduled? I know PSA is bigger, but the number of active flights seemed disproportionate. Also seems that PDT has more room to grow vs others.

If you have no 121 it will take you 2 to 3 years before you have the 121 time to upgrade.
Don't come to pdt for short upgrade unless you have 121 time.

PDT has a lot of room for growth. Depends what you want. I came for the fast upgrade and the PHL base made sense for me. If you want to be a sim instructor that’s a possibility as well as many other roles. If you want to upgrade quick but don’t have 121 time you may need to consider Envoy or someone else because between the slow training process and the extremely slow schedules here it’ll take you a very long time to upgrade.

Do you think new contract will change the schedules from 4/2 at all or add some day trip runs from philly? It looks like PSA has a couple lines that start and end at phl daily.

Maybe, the MEC has been keeping our new TA so secret that nobody knows what the changes are.
Any day now we should know once they are able to turn the AIP into the TA and both parties agree to put it up to a vote for the pilot groups.
That being said, I think reserve rule improvements were low on the list of wants from the pilot group.
