Commuting from ORD

Anyone at Piedmont commuting from ORD? I was looking at Passrider and there’s a decent number of flights from ORD to PHL & CLT. I’m curious as to how commutable the lines are (e.g. are you always commuting in the night before, any challenges with finding open jumpseats, etc.)

I was interested in Envoy so I can live in-base, however, they’re currently not hiring anyone off-the-street (only DECs, cadets, and RTP candidates). I really would rather not commute, but the potentially faster flow-thru times and decent health insurance are definitely a strong consideration.

Our flow time isn't faster... or health insurance cost have increased substantially now.. bit they will take you asap right now... what about taking ord?

we have some ord commuters.. i don't hear much complaints..

There is always the possibility I'd making it a two leg commute... phl to an outstation to ord...
