Enjoy that peace of mind the next time you have a sweet min day off line. Edit: which will be next month.

No idea what you are talking about. Ever since BL and his awesome relationship with Mngmt have flourished my schedule has improved dramatically. Min days off are a thing of the past.

Even if the improvements he was able to achieve are only incremental, that is a gift he gave to you and the rest of us. And instead of being grateful of his efforts, all you can contribute to this conversation is a snot-nosed non sequitur about how BL hasn't made the schedules the envy of the industry? What did you expect? BL is not Piedmont management, does not have control over the flying we get from AA, and can't single-highhandedly fix our contract.
You need to adjust your expectations, and lose the whiny entitlement attitude.

A fellow pilot takes it upon himself to go far above and beyond what past committee members have done, and more than you have done, to improve the scheduling. He spearheads the committee, opens lines of dialogue with other airlines, attends training on the optimizer, lead the charge to reduce our report times, and has improved schedules probably as much as can be done with what he has to work with (****ty turboprop flying to ****ty outstations with a ****ty contract). BL has done this all to benefit the pilot group. He could be enjoying time off, or picking up triple premium, instead of donating his time and effort.

It frustrates me when people denigrate his dedicated efforts because he couldn't give us all 18 days off. We need more people like BL.

Not sure that winter months where flying doesn’t break mmg is the most accurate barometer of how the new schedules will be to declare “min days off being a thing of the past”.
With triple premium pretty much gone there seems to be an increase in folks on property who are financially motivated to apply elsewhere though.
