Has Piedmont's hiring slowed down?

You are either a recruiter, management, drinking the kool-aid, or made an honest mistake, but let me correct that for you.
PAY-SCALES are pretty equal across the board.
PAY, is nowhere near close to equal. If you ended up working 11 days off at the other WO, you would take home 25% more (if not more). Their soft pay rules and block times are way better than PDT.
The only reason anyone should maybe (and I emphasize maybe) joining PDT at this time is if they live in PHL. Or if they can’t get hired anywhere else.

Let's compare straight pay to the 25%/50% overages...
Credit 95 hours in a month (~88 block).
First 75 hours paid at 100%
Next 10 hours paid at 125%
Next 10 hours paid at 150%
So, instead of getting paid 95 hours, you would get 102.5 for doing the same work. This typically equals out to about $7-$10 more an hour in pay on the Captain side of things.
This is in addition to any junior man's, critical pay, etc...

The part about soft pay is very true. This is something that all of the WO's should have. PSA got it because we have SAP and a large percentage of guys were dropping down and getting 15+ days a month off. The extra pay was a way to try to entice some people to work more. The other WO's should have the same thing, and hopefully they will have this soon.

PSA has not slowed down. New hire classes are pretty much full throughout the rest of the year with just a few openings in each. Close to 200 new hires projected between now and the end of the year.
Envoy is hiring pretty regularly, but I am not sure how many PDT is hiring. Someone on here will know that answer.

My guess is that if/when we go to PBS and likely start flowing more they’ll kick hiring back into full swing. Or of course if they announce any more growth.

PSA hasn’t slowed down... yet. I heard that with 2,000+ pilots and the number of aircraft we have that they may get much more picky about who they hire and plan to reduce our class sizes in 2020.

This whole summer I was averaging 15 days off /month and about 110 credit with the accelerated pay credit at PSA. At this rate, 1st year pay at mainline is going to be a huge pay cut. It would probably be year 3 FO pay at mainline before our LCA get back to making what some are making.
So you are home for 9 days.
I am trying to be sarcastic and maybe funny but in a sick way

If you are talking total compensation and essentially working fewer days at other regionals and making the same as PDT pilots who clearly work more days then yes I 100% agree with you. PDT is definitely not up to date with the times in terms of schedules and line credit that every other regional has. It is party due to the type of flying PDT operates and the other part is due to management mentality of "If it ain't broke don't fix it" status quo they seem to have with everything. Believe me, I find it annoying that I have friends at Skywst / Republic / PSA / Endeavor that get 18 days off /month and credit 85 hours, and here we are at PDT with 11 days off and 75 hours of credit - it is disgraceful.
PDT pilots are working under a union contract that is 6 years old (I think?) and in desperate need of an update. The contract does not favor pilots, it clearly leans more toward the company - Look at the recent IT issue at SBY and extensions and mayhem that resulted in, not to mention, the union email that was a huge "Sorry, nothing we can do about it" to the pilot group.
I'm on your side. If you read the rest of my previous post you should get a sense of where I stand on things.
