Attrition/Flow
Technically I think flow is attrition, but since it’s known 6/month, it’s not counted as such. So attrition means those who go to another airline outside the flow, resign, get fired, or can’t make it through training (the last 3 being the least common). Attrition per month varies, flow doesn’t.
So to just stay “properly staffed” as we “are now”, we need to hire at least 6/month. But when you factor in attrition, we need to hire 10-20/month. Just to keep size....which we haven’t been doing for a year or so now.
