Not sure about that. There’s actually a lot of psychological studies out there about why people are that active on social media. Usually it’s a need for belonging due to low self esteem and self-actualization. I honestly could see those two being very unhappy and sad “off camera”. Doing it all for likes. Don’t forget to comment and subscribe!”.

On one hand you have to hand it to him/them for monetizing it. They probably have a decent enough stream of extra income. It’s just strange they are willing to have all their coworkers and peers think they’re total Dbags in a career that will afford them plenty of income if they just keep their heads down and do their job.

That was more applicable back when you couldn't really make much money on the Youtubes. Now if you have enough subscribers and some advertiser backing you can make a LOT of money. There are Tik Tok and You tube millionaires all over the place now.

100% sarcasm on my end. I’ve heard about the studies, social media def can be dangerous for certain types. I’m with santicom tho crazy these instagrammers would rather have some fame than be liked by their peers at work.

Hopefully for him that flow's gonna work out, cuz his name is now out there at the majors. UAL for sure wouldn't touch him with a 10' pole.
And even at AA, he still has to complete training and probation... if for some reason AMR has taken note of this clown, he'll be shall we say "vulnerable" for that year.

This stuff always makes me cringe. Why act like somebody further down the line is gonna “handle” it. How many people get fired during probation? Seriously how many? At the end of the day there is too much happening at this company for somebody to have that much spotlight on them. Tbh its kind of petty. Was it lame? Sure. But he certainly isnt the only person whos done something lame at AA.

Exactly. The guy comes from money, has money, and clearly only cares about making more money. He does not care about aviation, his peers/coworkers, or his job at piedmont. All he cares about is himself. That’s the issue here. It’s people like him that make 4 day trips awful.

If you weren't around back then, you have no idea what lengths some of the majors, most notably AA, went to screen their pilots.
