Someone on another post recommended Piedmont to me cause they are hurting so bad they will pick you up if you are short on multi time. I have 541/25. Thoughts?

I think that it wouldnt hurt applying. I have 450TT and 103ME and have applied everyhwere. I have 3 interviews coming up and have heard from two others that the "application process" is started and that they will be contacting me for an itnerview. I havent yet applied to Piedmont, but am this morning, just becuase. Send it in, see what happens. Good luck. Oh yea, and for those of you who work for Peidmont, how commutable is it? Or do you have to live in base? thansk.

I've heard to stay away from them. Any other opinions or insight on them? where do you go to school? |
A few posts obove, someone mentioned 34 open F/O slots on the bid. Wouldn't that mean that they would be fully staffed in only 2 months worth of classes in that case? I know there are 20 newhires in May, and 2 classes of 20 in June, for a total of 60. Hopefully they'll still need some f/o's after that. Unless I'm missing something?...

Remember that PDT is a very senior (in both age and seniority) company so movement to CA is pretty slow (Eagle like). Without any significant growth planned, there are probably better places to go unless you live in base and plan to stay around for a while. Even someone with 300/50 has multiple choices these days.....

I'm glad to see there's now some positive scuttlebutt about PDT at least looking into replacing what they'll lose in the coming years to leases running out.....maybe management gets it that turboprops actually do make money (maybe that's a bit much to ask for though, who knows).
