If AA really wants their WO pilots than they seriously need to step up the outside the flow hiring, and not just for the "select few". If they don't, their WOs will be bled dry by their competitors.

Blaming diversity hiring protects the ego from facing the fact that you’re incompetent and can’t get a call back from anyone during the greatest hiring spree of our lives. Keep complaining on a forum that you can’t get hired tho, that’ll solve your issues. If you ever get a call to an interview anywhere, try not to blame everyone else for everything. They like if you take some responsibility and tell them what you learned.
oh and when you have your last flight at piedmont make sure you get a water cannon salute and a welcome reception. It’s super cool

Therein lies the quandary. If you apply elsewhere you get hired. But many worked for an AA wholly owned to get hired.........at American.
