New aip/ta

Please take the time to read over the AIP/TA and ensure this goes to the pilot group for a vote!
This is the biggest sh** sandwich I've ever seen...

Still considering coming here and have no idea what this is about.. find someone who does and get details

Absolute TRASH!!!

You missed the last one the pilot group got to vote on… shot down 75%… as a result the union leadership passed concessionary LOAs for the next several years…
Call your rep. Demand the pilot group gets to vote.

What do you not like about it? More min days off? Holiday pay? Auto-LCR for captains above 250 hours PIC, and if they convert you to SCR they have to positive space you and pay for your hotel in domicile? Longevity credit for people coming here from other airlines?

The jr man stuff is extremely overblown. They can only do it to you twice a year (for lineholders, 3 times a year for reserve), if there are no other pilots available, you have more than min days off for that month, and then you end up crediting 20 hours in premium pay.

That’s an extremely specific circumstance that they can jr man you into a day off

Besides longevity pay, are there any other longevity items such as vacation? Also, besides 12 days off and the 250hr dec lcr, is there anything else of note with the new AIP?

Thanks again for any info.

Compensation and vacation longevity were originally addressed in the LOA signed a year ago. The major change with this TA is that your longevity was frozen until it caught up with years of service at PDT, and that would no longer be the case (so you had 5 years at ExpressJet, your longevity is frozen until you reach 5 years at PDT but with this TA that wouldn’t be the case. And it will be retroactive for those currently here)

In addition to what I highlighted above, the TA also improves airport standby rules and allows you to move up to 12 days of flying during the 48 hour period (currently is 6)
