Training not backed up anymore?

I interview with Piedmont in about a week. My recruiter mentioned training not being backed up at all and said I could start either December or January, my choice. Anyone know if this is accurate or maybe he’s not in touch with the scheduling side of things?

Are you a DEC or FO?

Recruiters get regular updates.

I’d be coming in as an FO, assuming I get an offer.

Expect 5-7 months from INDOC to completion of sims.

Really? Lots of breaks in training then? Do you get paid the min guarantee during those wait times?

Yes you make min guarantee and no per diem sitting at home or non-revving during the breaks.

And probation and bonus payback clocks running, so even better…

Curious what kind of times you have (TT, 135, Turbine, etc.). A recruiter told me a month or two they expect to start hiring fresh (low time)FOs in the December/jan time frame. Perhaps they moved it up if the FO/CA ratio is more balanced now.

I applied through airline apps two months ago and never heard anything until yesterday. I received an email asking me to contact them to set up a time for a phone screen. Maybe there is some movement now for low time FO hiring
