How is the hiring going at PDT? Are interviewing and hiring outside CFIs with 1500 or do I need to get my ATP written done to get a call?

Recruiter said they have over 6000 apps on file

Its slow currently but going. The less the company has to pay for the more attractive applicant you are for them. Try meeting them at a job fair. That will help you break out from the pile of applications. If you live near PHL or MDT or even CLT highlight that.

how long are people waiting from a job offer to starting indoc?

My buddy who just went through Indoc in the last class waited less than a month between his interview and being in a class. Granted he had 4000+ hours with most of it being turbine and lives close to a base.
