Doug Parker to Sell PSA and Piedmont to RAH?????

The rumor mill is strong about AWAC bidding aggressively for UAL Q400 flying out west...PLUS AWAC management has sold their stake in LCC and have left their seat on the BoD.
In the event of a UAUA/LCC merger, I could see AWAC buying PSA and Piedmont in exchange for a large, long-term 70/86 seat RJ and Q300/400agreement for the combined new United Airways (heh)...with a whole slew of 100 series Dashes and 200 series CRJs would be parked as the lists and operations were integrated.
Of course, because it seems reasonable it won't ever happen...
