Any news on the Piedmont Interview from March 8th? Did anyone go? Did the test kick your ass?

I didn't show up........wonder how many people did?

I was planning on showing up. But when I tried to list for the flight the lady said they were all full. Dunno why that really matters.

I called Shiela and Jody to let them know the situation. They never returned my calls. So whatever........ Going to pinnacle anyways.

Gouge? The ATP question bank doesn't change very much. Use the Gleim book or a similar product.

There were some questions on there not from the ATP bank. The first group was sent home. The group I was in all passed. Have a good time flying at Pinnacle for 21 an hour and enjoy the crap contract. PDT FO pay goes up to 25 per hour starting in May. Jets are for hot tubs.

Good. The airline didn't give you a written test to see if you could do some internet research. They gave you the test to see if you had a vague idea how to tell your head from a hole in the ground when it came to aeronautical knowledge. All those boobs who just knew the gouge answers and not the actual subject matter probably got what they deserved.
FO: "Captain, there is a thunderstorm ahead, how should we get around it?"
CA: "I don't know! That question wasn't in the gouge!"

Hey, check6, I think you dropped some sour grapes! Sure, that Pinnacle guy will be making less than you as a PDT FO but the Pinnacle guy will be upgrading about twice as fast. Why don't you compare 4th year FO pay at PDT with 4th year CA pay at Pinnacle. Now who got the better deal? To be fair, I have heard bad things about working for Pinnacle but it hasn't been all roses and sunshine from Piedmont guys I've talked to either.

Kid, to be honest with you, I'm not really in it to find the quickest upgrade. Now run along and preflight your UND Seminole.

Headed off to do just that. And you better believe I am going to enjoy every minute of it because it will probably be the last time I do it before I head off to fly a jungle jet. Later pal.
