This applies to PSA as well...

I'm sooooo happy at PSA!! So I don't know what you're talking about! They even gave me 2 years off without pay to recuperate from being on rsv few years ago!

That's a good idea. The two happiest days of my life were the day I quit PDT and the day it finally hit me that I didn't have to spend anymore time in that absolute ****-hole cesspool known as Roanoke.

PDT will make you hate your life.

They will lie to you in the interview.

Roanoke is that bad?

Bottom line is this place has no certain future. We have a handful of aircraft that are reaching their cycle limit this year and there are no apparent replacement aircraft lined up. That's right, we fly aircraft that are getting so old and that have flown so much that the FAA is literally saying they are no longer safe to carry passengers. During the interview they will probably tell you that they are getting more 300s or 100s, they might even throw in the old Q400 lie, but it's exactly that, a lie. Because the truth is our management has no real control over our future, US Airways does. And with this American merger on the horizon we have turned from the red headed step child of Airways to pretty much an afterthought. Once the merger happens I honestly can't see anything getting better here, especially for the most junior.

Q400's have been 'right around the corner' for how many years now? :D

Some apparently enjoyed it. I hated every minute of it. Commuting to/from ROA (like every PDT base) was a nightmare.
